Volunteer Volunteering with Habitat offers an opportunity to join with others in the community who want to help develop safe neighborhoods for families in need. There are many ways you can support our mission – not just by hammering nails. Habitat Lehigh Valley works continuously throughout the year, rain or shine. We can use your help in so many ways, both on our construction sites and "behind the scenes", for example in our office or on a committee. Construction Habitat homes are designed to be simple, well-constructed houses that meet the needs of the partner family. Construction costs are kept well below market prices by using volunteer labor and donated materials as much as possible.
